On top of great value accommodation, we also offer a private grass airstrip for our guests.  We do not operate any commercial flying (tours, training or pleasure flights) from our site, so you can be assured of a quiet and safe stay, but as a unique offer, there is the opportunity to bring your microlight (either by flying it here, or bringing it on a trailer) and making the most of the Island.

There are no additional charges for taking off, the only restriction is that you are limited to 8 movements per day (four return trips) simply to ensure that the peace is maintained for other guests and our neighbors.  

You will note many of the photographs on this site are aerial shots, taken from John’s microlight, a Dragon and believed to be one of the last remaining flying in the UK!  The Island, from any angle, is a beautiful place but on a summer evening, the views are unrivaled.
